Orientation Programme for I P U students was held on 6th June 2023. The Resource Speaker for the Programme was Dr.Karen Jesy, a family physician and Mental Health Clinician. She is also a lecturer in Medical Training in a Para Medical College. Mrs.Vijaya, Lecturer ( Department of Physics) formally welcomed the Chief Guest. The programme began with a invocation dance by Varshini of II PCMC this was followed by a serene prayer service by Sr.Sini ,Ms.Maria and Ms. Bindu ensued by Lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest , Rev.Dr.Sr Sophy George, (Principal) Sr.Sini (Assistant Principal), Sr.Philomina(Office Administrator)and I PU student. The Chief Guest spoke on the topic ‘How importance is prioritisation’ in order to become successful in life. She also spoke on the import dance of mental health .
This occasion was followed by ‘Freshers day’. Students from II EBAB and II PCMC performed mesmerizing dances for their Juniors. The day was filled with excitement, joy, music,laughter and enthusiasm. Few events like Singing,Dancing, Mono Acting, Oration and Fashion Show were conducted to I PU Students . Many I PU students took part to exhibit their skills and talents. . Few rounds were held to select the ‘Freshie Queen’, Ameena Fathima of I PCMB -A was crowned as St.Anne’s ‘ Freshie Queen’ . It was a memorable day for the I PU students
