Graduation Day was held on 3st January 2024 in a grand manner amidst the dignitaries ,the staff and students . The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Colonel Lieutenant Mandeep Virdi ,she is the pioneer batch of women officers who, “has become the first lady officer to take over the prestigious command of No.1 Training Battalion (AT) ‘The Mighty Chetak’, a premier training establishment of ASC Centre (North)”. Its an honour and privilege to have her as our Chief Guest.
The ceremony began with the Solemn March by the student Union, followed by a tranquil prayer service by the students of I HEPS and this was followed by lighting of the lamp by Principal Rev.Dr.Sr Sophie George, the Chief Guest Colonel Mandeep Virdi , Sr.Sini ( Vice Principal )Ms. Monica Vincent (Staff Secretary ),Ms.Akifa Ameena (Student Union President).
Our beloved Principal Dr.Rev. Sr. Sophie George administered the Pledge to the graduating students this was followed by our College Anthem .
Swetha of I HEBA performed a graceful invocation dance.
Ms.Mary Roopashree (Department of English ) delivered the welcome address followed by the Principal’ s Oration, Sr. Principal gave a beautiful and an informative message to the budding students.
Prize Distribution was held by giving trophies and certificates to College Toppers, Centum and Highest Scorers in Subjects of II PU Board Exam ‘batch of 2022-2023. Subsequently prizes were also given to I PUC Class Topper of all combinations for the academic year 2022-2023 and for students, who have 100% attendance in all subjects. Certificate of Appreciation was given to Student Union Members.
The Chief Guest gave a motivating and inspiring oration to the young graduates.She emphasized on the importance of letter ‘T’ in our life Time, Target ,Thanks Giving and how to focus on their goals.
Power Point Presentation of Various Club activities for the academic year 2022-2023 was shown to students.The college choir sang a canorous farewell song for their seniors Reminiscing is always nostalgic. Ms.Archita Saniya from Arts stream, Ms.Pooja Shree from Commerce Stream and Ms.Leema Rani from Science Stream reminisced and shared their experiences with their fellow students.
Students of I PU entertained their seniors by performing a flawless choreography. Students of I ESBA I EBAB and I HEBA performed a ‘Dance drama’, which was truly entertaining. A stunning duet dance performed by Sherly and Dharani of I EBAS
Lastly ‘Tappori Tappers‘ the staff entertained the students by their enchanting moves. Students were awe struck to see the teachers ‘performance on the stage. It captivated the eyes of the audience and was truly mesmerizing . Ms.Akifa Ameena , the President of Student Union proposed the Vote of Thanks. The ceremony was concluded with National Anthem.
