Under the #Beat Plastic Pollution campaign, the theme of World Environment Day 2023 is “Ecosystem Restoration.”
On the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’, 5th June 2023, the ‘ Eco Club ‘of our College joined hands with the rest of the world to commemorate this important day. Different activities aimed at creating awareness of the need to protect and preserve the environment were organised. These included Poster Campaign, Planting Saplings, the response for Poster Making was overwhelming and positive. As part of its objective to make the campus green, the Eco Club with the help of the students planted saplings . Leema of II PCMB-A spoke on the importance of planting more frees and ways to save environment .
The Eco Club hopes to motivate and generate a keen interest among the students about the urgent need of conserving the environment and quality of life.
