When students read and write short plays their literary and writing skills as well as their understanding of literary elements such as character,plot, conflict and their theme increase,It also boosts their confidence and helps them to overcome stage fear. Giving this due importance “Bloomsbury English Literary Club “conducted “One Act Play “for both I and II PU students. II PU students were given plays from Shakespeare and I PU from the Indian Writer, R.K Narayan. Students of all combinations enthusiastically participated and beautifully enacted their roles and they were also very expressive in their dialogues. II HEBA won the 1st prize followed by I BASC, won the 2nd prize and II PCMC and I EBAB won the 3rd prize respectively.
