World Environment Day Celebration
World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our college on 5th July. The event was thoughtfully organized by the Eco Club animators with the active support of student volunteers, aiming to raise awareness about environmental conservation.
The celebration began with the planting of saplings across the campus, promoting the message of sustainability and green living. A speech highlighting this year’s theme — “Beat Plastic Pollution” — was delivered, encouraging students to take meaningful steps toward reducing plastic usage.
Our Principal inaugurated the event by planting a sapling, setting an example for the college community. The event was further energized by the Eco Club’s slogan, “Save Environment,” which served as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility.
Students, under the guidance of the Eco Club animators, prepared creative and informative charts and posters that were displayed throughout the corridors, making the message visually engaging and impactful.
Overall, the program was a memorable and purposeful initiative, inspiring everyone to become active participants in preserving the environment.
