Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration 2025
St. Anne’s Pre- University for Girls’ proudly celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava on 22 November 2025 in the Auditorium with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour. The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Prashanth SJ as the Chief Guest.
The celebration commenced with a graceful invocation dance by Maria Rubonia and her group, followed by the traditional Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing knowledge, purity, and the spreading of cultural values.
In his address, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of being prepared to take up any responsibility assigned, encouraging students to grow with commitment and dedication.
The Principal, Mrs. Mary Latha, then delivered an inspiring message, appreciating the efforts of students in preserving and promoting the richness of the Kannada language and culture.
Prizes were awarded to I and II PU students who excelled in the Navodaya Kannada Club competitions, recognising their talent and achievements. Colourful cultural performances and energetic dances enthralled the audience, showcasing the spirit of Karnataka. Prizes were awarded for the winners who took part in Kannada literary competitions .
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
