“Go forth and set the world on fire” St. Ignatius of Loyola
Graduation Day was held on 4th February 2023 in a grand manner amidst the dignitaries ,the staff and students . The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Mr .Ajay Xavier a multifaceted personality. He is a passionate trainer with excellent communication skills. He holds a masters degree in business administration from the university of OHIO, USA and Adult and Child Psychology from the University of New York USA and Executive MBA in risk management from IIM Bengaluru.
He is a business development consultant at Global tech in San Jose California USA. In his 30 years of experience. He has trained more than 850000 participants across the globe. He has trained over 850 under privileged children on life skills as an individual social responsibility. Its an honour to have him as our Chief Guest.
The ceremony began with the Solemn March by the student Union, followed by a tranquil prayer service by Ms. Daisy (Department of Economics),Ms Roopa (Department of English)and Ms.Anuradha (Department of Physics) this was followed by lighting of the Lamp by Principal Rev.Dr.Sr Sophie George, the Chief Guest Mr.Ajay Xavier, Ms.Daisy (Department of Economics),Ms.Shanthi (Supporting Staff) and Ms.Faariya Habeeb (Student Union President).
Our beloved Principal Dr.Rev. Sr. Sophie George administered the Pledge to the graduating students.
Ms.Akshata and Ms.Supritha of IEBAS performed a graceful invocation dance.
Mr.Ramesh (Department of History ) delivered the welcome address followed by the Principal’ s Oration, Sr. Principal gave a beautiful and an informative message to the budding students.
Prize Distribution was held by giving trophies and certificates to College Toppers, Centum and Highest Scorers in Subjects of II PU Board Exam ‘batch of 2021-2022 . Subsequently prizes were also given to I PUC Class Topper of all combinations for the academic year 2021-2022 and for students, who have 100% attendance in all subjects. Certificate of Appreciation was given to Student Union Members.
The Chief Guest gave a motivating and an inspiring speech to the young graduates.
Power Point Presentation of Various Club activities for the academic year 2022-2023 was shown to students. This was followed by a stunning Rap performed by Ms.Rita of I HEPS. Students of I PU entertained their seniors by performing a flawless choreography. Students of I BASC and I EBAS performed a beautiful Skit, which was truly entertaining. The college choir sang a canorous farewell song for their seniors. Reminiscing is always nostalgic. Ms.Noor Saniya from Science stream, Ms.Vaishnavi from Commerce Stream and Ms.Nagashree from Arts Stream reminisced and shared their experiences with their fellow students.
Last but not the least the staff entertained the students by their groovy moves. Students were awe struck to see the teachers ‘performance on the stage It was really a spectacular sight. Ms.Faariya Habeeb, the President of Student Union proposed the Vote of Thanks. The ceremony was concluded with National Anthem.
