Bloomsbury English Literary Club Events 2026–27
The Bloomsbury English Literary Club organised a series of literary events for I and II PU students on 9th and 10th July 2026, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their language skills, creativity, and confidence.
On 9th July, the club conducted Spell Bee, Creative Writing, and Extempore competitions.
The Creative Writing topics were “The Mystery Behind the Locked Door” for I PU and “A Letter from the Future” for II PU.
The Spell Bee tested students’ spelling accuracy and vocabulary through basic and advanced vocabulary rounds. In the Extempore competition, participants spoke confidently on topics given on the spot, demonstrating their spontaneity, fluency, and public speaking skills.
On 10th July, Debate and Dumb Charades competitions were held. The debate topics were announced in advance to help students prepare. The I PU students debated on “Competitive Exams Create Unnecessary Stress,” while the II PU students discussed “Marks Are More Important Than Skills.”
Students enthusiastically participated in all the events, making the literary fest an engaging and enriching experience while fostering creativity, communication, and critical thinking.
