The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2024–2025 was held with grace and solemnity on July 5, 2025, in the College Auditorium. The event marked the formal induction of the Student Union Council, Class Representatives, and Assistant Class Representatives, celebrating the ideals of leadership, responsibility, and service.
The ceremony commenced with a serene prayer service, followed by a graceful invocation dance presented by the II PU students.
The dignified lighting of the lamp followed, performed by the Chief Guest, Rotarian Dr. Elizabeth Cherian, along with Director Dr. Rev. Sr. Sophie George, Principal Ms. Mary Latha, Staff Secretary Ms. Silvy George, and Student Union President Kinza Harmain, symbolizing the light of wisdom and duty.
The event was further honoured by the presence of Rotarian Mr. John Daniel, Rtn. Archana Singh, Rtn. Jothi Manjunath (Youth Service Director), and the President of Rotary Kalyan Bangalore, whose presence added distinction to the occasion.
In her address, Dr. Elizabeth Cherian encouraged the students to embrace good habits, stay curious, and lead by example. She stressed the importance of reading, being aware of the world, and living with gratitude. She reminded the young leaders that leadership is not about position or power but about humility, service, and using every day meaningfully. Her message was brief yet powerful, inspiring students to lead with integrity and kindness.
Following her address, the College Magazine 2024–2025 was officially launched.
The vibrant Grand March was then conducted, after which Director Dr. Rev. Sr. Sophie George administered the pledge of office to the newly elected student leaders. Badges were then pinned, symbolizing their responsibilities.
The College Anthem was sung in unison, filling the auditorium with pride.
A colourful cultural segment followed, with a captivating dance by Rubonia and team, an inspirational song by the college choir, and an energetic performance by the II EBAS students.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a truly memorable and meaningful event.
